If you aren't familiar with the Little Free Library program, here is a simple explanation:
It’s a “take a book, return a book” gathering place where neighbors share their favorite literature and stories. In its most basic form, a Little Free Library is a box full of books where anyone may stop by and pick up a book (or two) and bring back another book to share. You can, too!
Each box is uniquely designed and some resemble over-sized bird houses with a clear door. The one that I drive by all the time is on Delafield Street & Magnolia - across from the Waukesha Police Station. It always looks to have a lot of books in it.
Here are some others I have spotted:
AllWriter's Workshop on Brook Street
Plowshare Center on Main Street
Prairie Avenue & Hamilton Street
N. West Ave & Prospect Ct.
Food Pantry of Waukesha on Sentry Drive
Not sure location but found a Facebook page for this one
I know there are plenty more and from this map, I can also see that plenty are missing. I would appreciate any help filling in the blanks of others around the city and I am even willing to add a tab to my page
There is one in Parkview park in the Tower Hill neighborhood at the corner of Madison & Randall St.
